In 624 Miradai, Derouth and his brother a Menath slew the Dark Lord Sidron in his fortress north of the Threshold of Humanity. They were servants in his employ, and took it upon themselves to slay the Dark Knight, claiming much of his considerable power for their own and abandoning his lands to chaos. From this point onward, the two become legendary in the undercurrents of the world, known as t# he Black Brothers.

Manipulative and cold, Derouth is a murderous psychopath who will do what he wants, and do whatever is necessary to let him continue to do what he wants. And while he has no regard for the morals and concerns of others, he often acts within the boundaries of society for the convenience of it, and enjoying every chance he can of twisting social norms in upon themselves, or convincing others he is something he is not.

There are two things Derouth values in life besides his narcissism. They are his brother and his art. Derouth is a practitioner of the arts in all its forms, a skilled painter, musician, and sorcerer. He regards his brother as his other half, born together and never separated for long. Menath serves as Derouth’s confidant, bodyguard, and friend. In combat the two work as a seamless team to dispose of whatever obstructs their path. Derouth serves as the mouth and brains, and Menath as the body and muscle.

He is quick witted and charming, disarming those around him with his good looks and charisma. He enjoys verbally abusing those around him, and though he normally leaves the strong arm routine to his brother, he is by no means helpless on his own.

Like all elves of Draionmere, Derouth is soul-bound to specific area of nature. Menath and him are connected to the same area, a small farmland in northern Grempas near the border with Feraduil.
